Hey Sis! As December marks the end of the year, and is a seasons of reflection, celebration, and generosity, HGYGT encourages you to incorporate personal growth, self-care, and the spirit of giving this holiday season.
Check back for updates on how you can end the year with the action steps that will catapult your life high into the new year!
REFLECTION
Hey Sis! This is a season of reflection - at least for many of us. Do you take time to reflect at the end of each year? I challenge you to take time throughout the month of December to reflect on:
1. What worked well this year?
2. What didn’t work well?
3. In what ways would you like to grow?
4. What do you need in this season/chapter of your life?
5. Who do you need to help you get there?
6. Who do you need to become to get you there?
7. What challenges do you need to overcome or what would be potential roadblocks you must push through to get you there?
CELEBRATION
It’s time to CELEBRATE all of your accomplishments and wins!🥳🎉
I challenge you to take time to acknowledge your achievements, milestones, and growth in the different areas of your life - mind, body, and soul. This is a great time to identify the positive moments in your life and express your highest level of gratitude for all of your blessings. Here are some questions to get you started:
1. What are some of your personal and professional achievements this year, big or small? Which achievement are you most proud of? How did it contribute to your growth?
2. What emotions did you manage or transform? How did you grow emotionally?
3. What are health milestones (e.g., completing a fitness goal, improving nutrition habits, etc.) that you accomplished this year?
4. How has your faith deepened? What lessons has God taught you?
5. What are the financial milestones you’ve accomplished this year, such as paying off debt or reaching a savings goal? What positive financial habits have you implemented this year?
6. What self-care practices have you implemented this year? How has self-care impacted your mental and emotional health?
7. How have you given back to your community this year? How has giving back enriched your life and those around you?
8. Looking at your vision board or life goals for this year, what have you accomplished? What new steps will you take to keep moving your goals forward?
9. For your mental health, what are some coping skills, strategies, and steps you took this year to heal and get through some of your past challenges and traumas?
